Brenton Roggow, Coach
Brenton was introduced to CrossFit after playing 5 years of football at Evangel University where he received a Bachelor in Electronic Media. He wanted to keep training and stay in shape, but didn’t know what path that would take until he found CrossFit.
After coming off of 3 major knee surgeries and 1 major shoulder surgery, Brenton was told many times by many doctors that he would never be the same. But thanks to CrossFit and the support around him, he says that he is stronger and healthier than I have ever been.
“My aches and pains have only improved the more muscle and strength those areas build. I can truly attest to the fact that there is nothing better for you improving yourself than Crossfit. God has blessed me with many different Crossfit families across the country, but non greater than the family I have found at CF417. From the trainers, members, and the facilities, I cannot imagine any other place to be. I love nothing more than helping the people of this community meet their goals. My favorite movements are anything that’s a 1 rep power movement. I love setting new PR’s for clean, snatch, squat, bench, OH squat. My least favorite movements are anything in increments higher than 50 (burpees, box jumps, thrusters).” – Brenton
As for his life outside of Crossfit, he has a dog named Lokï. He also likes to spend a lot of time on social networks, doing media projects, and MC’ing CrossFit events around the nation. Brenton is a CrossFit Level 1 and Level 2 Trainer and holds CrossFit Gymnastics, CrossFit Endurance and CrossFit Mobility certificates.
“… and this is what He requires of you: to DO what is right, to LOVE mercy, and to WALK humbly with your God.”
